10. Hi - I work for a communications firm in PA who represents public television stations in over 20 major cities. We are having our semi-annual meeting in Miami January 11-12, and are looking for a key note speaker who can talk about hispanic marketing and how to leverage new media to reach this audience.

    Our group is linked to the Gospel Music Asso. They would like to do an “homenaje” for the legendary salseros Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz. Bobby just recently won a Latin Grammy and the duo has been providing their wonderful music for over 40 years. We need help finding sponsers that will help us with a concert in May 2008, perferably in NYC. The concert will be billed as “Richie & Bobby & friends. On 1/14/2007, Maria Elvira, whom I respect and admire a lot, made an error when she stated that Hialeah was the most “hispanic” city in the U.S…With all due respect to her, such comment is an insult to the Puerto Rican community, since Puerto Rico has the most hispanic cities in the U.S., regardless of what she thinks or say…I request that she retracts herself from such comment and apologize and correct herself. Hialeah is perhaps the most hispanic city in the continental U.S. and not the U.S…By the way, she is great and I commend her for her informative program…

    My name is LaReina DelBarrio and I am an anti-bullly activist, television producer, and part-time internet drag queen. I had a live public access show in East Los Angeles for years. Hate crime is at an all time high, especially hate against Hispanics. Its no coincidence that the latest victim, Lawrence King, looks Hispanic.

    I am now guesting on podcasts to spread word about the hate group Westboro Baptist Church. They picket the funerals of dead soldiers, some of whom are Hispanic. I’m sure they will get to all Hispanics eventually. They also hate Catholics! They have signs that say “Thank God for 9-11!” as well as other slogans.

39. We recently attended the Latin Billboards in Hollywood,FL to create a “buzz” around this eight year old dream entitled
    “Miami Beach”. The Game! A crossover, musical reality show concept.
    Throughout the years, as advised we “reached out” to the likes of the late great Celia Cruz, Tito Puente. In addition to many other Latin/Crossover stars.
    Recently, we created a treatment because of the human interest side to the dream. “Two lifelong friends, from different cultures(Latino and Jewish)who venture into Miami with a dream and an idea.
    The true situations they experienced,the many sacrifices, and long waiting period for a meeting with the “mogul”.
    In reaching for one’s dream, you must never believe everything you are told or promised because if you do, you may find the years and that dream pass you by.

42. I am looking to expand the merchant processing services (i.e. credit card processing, gift/loyalty cards, pos equipment, etc.) for the Hispanic Market for the company I am affiliated with.

    Currently, we are offering a reward to merchants (never before offered in the past or presently) in the form of equity in our merchant processing company.

    This makes us the only merchant-owed company in the country !!!

    We offer a competitive package in all other areas as well. The biggest benefit is the giving back to our merchants in the form of equity in our company as well as loyalty reward to our merchants in terms of a rebate.

    Does this website also market to Hispanic-owned businesses? If not, will you point me in the most direction of the most efficient medium in which in you estimation I can reach this demographic ASAP because this equity program will only be available for a limited time.
