		<description>I just stumbled upon your interesting post Vanessa.  I recruit for international ad agencies in Tokyo and I see some of them resorting to simple adaptations of English language ads that work for franchisors in the U.S. with very little thought into cultural adaptations (though they do go through the motions).  Full adaptation is expensive for sure, but I always wonder what the opportunity cost is vs. their actual success.  Really enjoyed it.</description>
