(Delray Beach, FL – July 27, 2011) More than 80 local marketing, media and public relations professionals attended the 5th annual PR YAK-YAK held recently at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar in Delray Beach.

Co-hosted by the Gold Coast PR Council and PRSA-Palm Beach, PR YAK-YAK netted approximately $1,400, which was split evenly by both nonprofit organizations.

Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman star in The Change-Up, from director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), writers Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (The Hangover) and producer Neal Moritz (Fast & Furious, Click). The R-rated comedy takes the traditional body-switching movie, ties it up tightly and throws it off a cliff.

That For Many U.S. Latinos,
Biculturalism is Key to Self-Identity

Larchmont, New York, July 7, 2011—Many U.S. Hispanics feel culturally connected to both their U.S. and Latino identities, according to Horowitz Associates’ annual FOCUS: Latino report.
For the past 11 years, the study has tracked U.S. Hispanics’ attitudes towards and viewing of TV, broadband, and alternative platform content and services. It finds that, when asked to rate on a scale of 1-5 whether they identified themselves as “completely Latino” or “completely American,” 18% of Hispanics identify themselves as “completely American,” 43% as completely Latino, and four in ten (39%) feel they are a mix of both.
