P&G and Toyota lead Online Advertising in the Hispanic market in the First Quarter of 2013
Procter & Gamble and Toyota Motor Company were locked in a dead heat at the top of the list of all advertisers on Hispanic websites during the first quarter of 2013. Newly released data from Media Economics Group show that Procter & Gamble accounted for a 6.7839% share of all ad occurrences on the nearly 200 Hispanic websites tracked by the company’s HispanicWebMonitor™ online competitive tracking service.

CNN Latino, the Spanish-language programming block custom-made for the U.S. Hispanic market, is expanding to Salt Lake City it was announced today by Cynthia Hudson, senior vice president and general manager of CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S. With the addition of this new market to its existing presence in Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Tampa and Phoenix, CNN Latino programming will now be available in markets that represent about 30 % of U.S. Hispanic Households.

March 9th Walk to Stop Violence Against Women
Miami women’s activists are adding their voices to a national and international movement to stop violence against women and girls. The recently launched, Miami Chapter of the United States National Committee for United Nations Women, will host its first 5k walk to stop violence against women and girls on March 9, 2013 (March is Women’s History Month and March 8th is International Women’s Day). The walk will take place at 11 a.m. at the Women’s Park in Sweetwater, 10251 W. Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33174.
