West Palm Beach, Fla. — Today, as part of Food & Water Watch’s “Let Me Decide” campaign to label genetically engineered (GE) foods in Florida, dozens of concerned citizens gathered in three communities across the state to demand the right to know what’s in the food they feed their families.

The holiday season has arrived and although many are looking for ways to improve health, finances and relationships. Small and medium-sized businesses owners (SMB’s) are no different. As the year comes to an end, take time to look back and reflect on 2012. What worked? What can be improved? What needs to be scaled back?

Receives $595,833 Grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services

(Boynton Beach, FL – June 25, 2012) DeAnna Warren, Executive Director of Genesis Community Health, today announced that the nonprofit organization has received a federal grant for $595,833 from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Funded under the Affordable Health Care Act, the grant will cover a two-year period from June 1, 2012 to April 30, 2014.
