Balcos Insurance Embraces Web Community

In January of 2011, Balcos Insurance, inc launched a new website (http://www.balcosinsurance.com) tailored to people’s needs, whether it be an insurance quote, FAQ, live chat, or articles and blog postings about insurance and related topics.

Balcos Insurance has always been, “more than just insurance. We’re a resource for our clients. We’re part of the community, and we want to see it succeed,” said Mark Balcos, Seattle profit center manager. As such, they have released an ever expansive set of articles about insurance (http://www.balcosinsurance.com/community/). Most innovative, however, is their release of an online business directory (http://www.balcosinsurance.com/directory-listings).

As a growing business, and a part of the larger world of local and e-commerce, Balcos Insurance wanted to give back to the community. “For businesses wanting to grow and increase their traffic, whether it’s a restaurant, clothing retailer, auto body repair shop, or a home-based business, having a web presence is very important,” said Michelle Ferris, Director of Marketing at Balcos Insurance, “We have worked hard to generate traffic for our website, and want to share that benefit with our clients, friends, neighbors, and community.
