Top Latin Entertainers Support LULAC’S Call for Voter Registration
Orlando, FL. – Amid a wide array of serious issues addressed at the 83rd Annual LULAC National Convention ranging from SB 1070 to the Affordable Care Act, LULAC has united a diverse group of musicians to perform at a free concert, Friday, June 29 at the Coronado Springs Resort and Convention Center.
The concert is free and open to the public, but ticketed. Tickets can be picked up from event sponsors in the Expo Hall at the LULAC Convention Wednesday through Friday.

Recently, the resort welcomed Carlos Ivan Franco Cuen, a Casa Hogar graduate, as its newest maintenance employee. After an internship at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar to learn the ins and outs of the hospitality industry, Carlos joined the staff to assist with the daily upkeep of the resort.

The Palm Beach County Cultural Council is pleased to present a Solo Exhibition, a collection of original works by Palm Beach County Artist Nathan W. Dean. The exhibit runs from June 9 to July 7 and is on display in the Cultural Council’s exhibition space at its new headquarters, 601 Lake Ave. in Lake Worth.
Nathan W. Dean’s series, “The Art of the Image,” is a sample of the artist’s original photographic works. “My images aim to show the essence of what I see, reduced to its simplest elements, uncluttered by distraction,” said Dean, a resident of Delray Beach.
