LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF FLORIDA REJECTS
ALL 11 CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS THIS YEAR

This November, Florida voters will see 11 of the most complex, confusing and, in some cases, misleading constitutional amendments proposed in recent memory. Voters will need to make a fundamental decision: "Do I want this in the state Constitution?"

The League of Women Voters of Florida urges voters to give a "thumbs down" to the 11 amendments they will confront on Election Day.

LEAGUE OUTLINES FOUR WAYS TO VOTE,
PROVIDES TIPS, IMPORTANT DATES FOR VOTERS

Tallahassee, FL--With election laws having changed in Florida, voters--even those who have been voting for decades--have questions about the balloting process that is already under way and concludes on Election Day, November 6.

Protect Your Vote: Vote Early!

This year’s 2012 November 6 ballot is the longest in Florida’s history, with over 11 constitutional amendments that require study. In addition, all voters need to understand that Florida’s election laws have recently changed. These changes could impact voters who wait until Election Day to vote. This is particularly true of voters who have recently moved. Call your local elections office and update your address: It’s easy: you can do this by phone! The law requires that you must vote where you live.
