Its goal is to engage the LGBTQA community of Wilton Manors and adjacent communities in civic engagement to create a multi-media theatrical production in collaboration with supportive organizations. March 9th Walk to Stop Violence Against Women

Miami women’s activists are adding their voices to a national and international movement to stop violence against women and girls. The recently launched, Miami Chapter of the United States National Committee for United Nations Women, will host its first 5k walk to stop violence against women and girls on March 9, 2013 (March is Women’s History Month and March 8th is International Women’s Day). The walk will take place at 11 a.m. at the Women’s Park in Sweetwater, 10251 W. Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33174.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts hosted the sixth annual Palm Beach Wine Auction on January 31, for the first time at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach.

Around 200 friends and supporters attended this popular, sold-out event that has, since it was started, generated more than $1.6 million to support the Kravis Center’s award-winning education programs that have served more than 1.7 million children of all ages over the last 21 years.
