New Affiliation Agreement in Salt Lake City Expands the Programming Block’s Reach

CNN Latino, the Spanish-language programming block custom-made for the U.S. Hispanic market, is expanding to Salt Lake City it was announced today by Cynthia Hudson, senior vice president and general manager of CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/U.S. With the addition of this new market to its existing presence in Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Tampa and Phoenix, CNN Latino programming will now be available in markets that represent about 30 % of U.S. Hispanic Households.

The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County invites the public to enjoy an exclusive lecture and luncheon with Paige Rense, Editor Emeritus of Architectural Digest, author, and founder of Bon Appetit. This intimate gathering, the second in a two-part series entitled, “It’s What You See” will take place 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County’s Headquarters, 601 Lake Avenue, in Lake Worth. Original works by these Palm Beach County artists and the books they created will be on display and for sale in the Cultural Council’s gallery and Uniquely Palm Beach Store throughout the exhibition from March 16, 2013 through May 18, 2013, 601 Lake Avenue, in Lake Worth. The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County has received $40,000+ in grants from the PNC Foundation to strengthen the arts and cultural industry, through SmARTBiz 2012. Now in its second year, SmARTBiz is an educational and grants program developed through collaboration between PNC and the Cultural Council to demonstrate the value and impact of the cultural industry on the local economy.
